High-speed clash in U-BT Cluj-Napoca's first visit to the Fonteta

Valencia Basket men’s team starts a week of three home games in a row in five days by hosting U-BT Cluj-Napoca for the first time in their European history (Wednesday 18th, 20:30h, Fonteta, broadcast on Deportes por M+) in a game that wraps up Round 12 of the BKT EuroCup.

 

This game will provide a new opportunity to continue raising awareness about the needs of those affected by the DANA floods that hit our province on October 29. It will also remind everyone of the ongoing reconstruction work and focus on new proposals to solve problems through “15 games, 15 initiatives.”

 

The team will aim to extend their positive momentum in this competition and their strong performances at home this season in a fast-paced matchup between the two highest-scoring teams in the tournament and two of the teams with a higher pace.

 

The task will not be easy against a rival with no previous matchups in the Fonteta, but that forced Valencia Basket to come back from a 17-point deficit in the first-leg game, ultimately winning by 96-105 in Romania.

 

Valencia Basket enters this 12th round in first place in Group B with a 10-0 record. As part of this triple-week schedule, it will also play against 7Bet-Lietkabelis Panevezys on Friday.
